From this week onwards, we'll be having a column called "I Wish You Well" which notes some of the thoughts and wishes from past CF members and current CF members about the musical. We are privileged to have our ex-president of CF, Jonathan Mah. He's currently studying in London for his post-graduate program. Let's take a look at what he has to say to us.
I’ve always had and always will have fond memories of UCSI Christian Fellowship. It was a big portion of my undergraduate life back in Malaysia. Someone once told me it is your college and university life that will set the course for the rest of your life and it will be the best moments of your life. I couldn’t agree more. It was through the CF that allowed me to grow and mature as a Christian and in turn be a service back on to God. It was definitely a blessing to be a part of a family; to be a part of the CF.
Serving in the committee, many friendships have been built that has lasted the distance and times. It was through CF as well that I have learned the will for God in my life and what it truly means to be the salt and life of the Earth.
Hearing that the CF was embarking on an ambitious endeavour to produce the musical the ‘Get Lifted’, I can say that I am proud and happy that the CF is still strong as ever, since my peers and I left UCSI. Carry on the good fight and finish the race that God has set out for the CF. Though I won’t be able to attend physically, I will be spiritually and my prayers will be with each and every CF member participating and the people that will be there that night. I pray that their hearts will be open and allow the Holy Spirit to stir them up to the greatest story ever told; the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. My prayers and best wishes to all of you from London!
All the best!
